Keith HowardKeith Howard is a former collegiate football player at the University of Florida who has now turned his sites to coaching youth basketball. His experience began as a coach for the Smoky Hill High School Girls Feeder Team. He later began coaching club basketball with the Colorado Swoosh. Mr. Howard joined the Colorado Swoosh as a head coach of the 7th Grade Girls Swoosh team. He then moved on to become an off-season volunteer coach with the Overland High School Varsity Girl’s team.Now Mr. Howard has turn his sites to boy’s basketball and creating one of Colorado’s most prominent basketball organizations. |

Percy WashingtonPercy Washington has been coaching for several years. His experience comes from playing semi-pro basketball with the Air Force Squadron base league basketball. Mr. Washington has coached from 4th through 12th graders. He has coached the 8th grade Eagle Crest High School feeder teams, in the Jam League and currently coaching for City of Aurora League. Several of the kids he has coached went on to play high school basketball and beyond.Coach Wash’s motto is “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. ” He also believes if a child wants to learn the game of basketball, he has the gift and knowledge to teach them sound fundamental basketball skills. |

Kevin PattonKevin Patton is a former track sprinter for the University of Kansas and has been coaching basektball for several years prior to joining the Colorado Fever. In the off season, he also shares his time as a track coach for the Colorado Steppers. Coach Patton utilizes his experience in running to better condition our ball players.With the help of Coach Patton, our teams have become 4th quarter teams. |

Phil StricklandPhil Strickland has been coaching youth basketball in the metro area since the mid-90′s. He is a University of Colorado alumnus who has established numerous relationships with area high school coaches. Coach Phil has the knowledge of what it takes to succeed in high school sports and how to transition into the next level.During his tenure as a Colorado Fever coach, he has shown to be invaluable as a defensive specialist for the organization. |

Marshon JonesMarshon Jones developed an interest in coaching after watching his daughters play basketball at a very young age. He eventually decided to coach his daughter’s basketball team and has continued coaching since 2005. His present girl’s team started playing in the 2nd grade and has won several first place trophies throughout the years. He has since been an integral part in growing the Lady Fever program and has been credited with its success. |

Jamal JohnsonCoach Jamal comes to us from Rucker Park, NYC. He is a former Harlem Prep standout and an AND 1 Street Ball alum. He honed his coaching techniques by way of the Denver Public Schools’ middle school league and most recently the Class 5A Denver Prep League. His edgy and animated enthusiasm translates into a certain east coast swagger when his girls take the court. He is currently concentrating his efforts on making the Lady Fever a force to be reckoned with in Colorado basketball.Coach Jamal’s motto is “Offense is execution and know how, Defense is effort and want to. Do both!!!“ |

Michael TownsieMichael Townsie is a Denver native and college graduate. Over the years, Michael has been involved with youth Basketball first as a Player and a coach. He is passionate about intense team defense and penetrating offensive plays. As a new coach within the Colorado Fever Club, Michael is looking forward to coaching a competitive group of 4th graders which include his twin boys. |

Rodney WatersRodney Waters is a Denver native graduating from George Washington High in 1983. He brings a different philosophy to coaching as he has been a high school and college basketball official for the last 19 years. Rodney also coaches youth Track (Aurora Lightning) and Football (Spartans) during off season. He has a great love for this game and would like to teach kids how to play a fundamentally sound game and grow for the future. Not only on the court but off as well. |

Chris Shullaw Chris Shullaw grew up playing in youth leagues in Houston, Texas and can relate to the kids because of that. In the early 90′s, in the Air Force stationed in England and Italy, he played in squadron intramural leagues. He then picked up the interest in coaching when his daughter became involved in basketball. He considers himself a coach in training or a fundamentals coach and hopes to sharpen his skills under Fever coaches Marshon Jones and Jamal Johnson. |
